Food Safety Training at Sasebo

USO Sasebo was visited by a USO Yokosuka volunteer who holds a Food Handlers Manager certification. Bernie, who is an Active Duty service member was on a TDY visit to Sasebo, and on his free time volunteered at USO Sasebo to provide this training course for their volunteers on April 16th. The purpose for this training course is to inform volunteers of food handling and safety measures which must be taken when serving meals, cooking meals, as well as time meals can sit out. All participants graduated the course with a Tri-Service Food Code food handler’s certification. Thank you Bernie for committing your time away from home and volunteering with the USO!
