Thanking Our Camp Fuji Volunteers
Our volunteers help us fulfill the mission of the USO. They also help maintain the centers during after work hours, to allow service members a place to relax and connect with a piece of home. On April 3rd, USO Japan invited volunteers from the outreach location, Camp Fuji, to lunch to show their appreciation and gratitude for all they do. Chaplain Cho and RP2 Wisnicky were presented with Volunteer Service Awards for all the hard work and effort they have put in these last two years to ensure the service members at Camp Fuji weren’t left out. They helped carry out many Operation Birthday Cakes, Sunday Meals, as well as setting up events for their service members to participate through video conferences. Thank you to all our volunteers who help out carry out the mission of the USO.
