Operation That's My Dress
With the help of USO Japan and USO Pacific, USO Iwakuni was able to bring Operation That’s My Dress to young women for their high school prom in Iwakuni. When the doors opened on March 30th for the high school teens, smiles burst through the rooms and glistening eyes glanced towards the dresses. Being in a distant location, shopping for gowns is not simple task, but USO Iwakuni was able to deliver dresses of all sorts and sizes to make dreams come true. Every high school teen walked away with a dress for the prom, and those who missed out on the event were able to attend ‘Pop-Up’ events afterwards. This event could not have been as successful as it was if it weren’t for the amazing volunteers who dedicated their time and effort. Thank you all for attending this event!
