3rd Annual Ladies’ Fall High Tea & Hat Party
Dozens of ladies gathered on October 25 for a women’s wellness tea and hat party hosted by USO Yokosuka. There were 5 keynote speakers who provided resources and addressed the following: New Parent Support, American Red Cross, University of Maryland University College, COMPASS, and a breast health specialist from the Yokosuka Naval Hospital. With a room full of 37 ladies, lunch was served along with good times and laughter. During the intermission, there were crafting projects where the participants all created home-made bath bombs. There were bracelet giveaways to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the event closed with a three-division hat contest.
