Iwakuni's Volunteer of the Month
On January 23, USO Iwakuni congratulated their volunteer of the month, Marsha James. Here is why Marsha loves volunteering with the USO, and why Iwakuni loves her company at the center.
“I love volunteering at the USO in Iwakuni. I have met so many great people coming and going on the Patriot Express. The staff here is wonderful and make the volunteers feel so appreciated. The activities are so much fun whether you come as a volunteer or as a guest. One of the best opportunities is when we delivery birthday cakes to the service members. I really appreciate the friendships we have made here and I am thankful for this opportunity to be a volunteer.”
Marsha is one of our best volunteers and does so much for the Iwakuni community. As a volunteer for USO Iwakuni, she has touched the lives of so many of those transitioning to and from the installation and those that call Iwakuni their temporary home. Congratulations, Marsha, on being selected Iwakuni’s Volunteer of the Month.
